Detailed Ititnerary LAN HA BAY & BAI TU LONG BAY - OFF THE BEATEN PATH 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS

Day 01: Hanoi-Ao Tien Harbor-Visit Ban Sen (Lotus Village)-Private transfer to Halong city (Lunch)

Distance: Hanoi-Ao Tien: 203 km, 2 hours and 40 minutes driving

08:30. Pick up from your hotel in Ha Noi and depart for Ao Tien Harbor in Van Don District, Quang Ninh Province. Ao Tien is the newest international harbor in the region, which opened in April 2022.

11:10. Upon arrival, board a speedboat for a sightseeing voyage in Bai Tu Long Bay. Stop at Ban Sen (Lotus village), an island commune belonging to the buffer zone of Bai Tu Long National Park.

Enjoy a home-hosted lunch which includes fresh ingredients hand-picked by the locals.

In the afternoon, choose one of two outdoor activities:

Option 01: Take a bike ride around the island to explore the local nature and daily community life. Stop at some oyster farms to learn about the aqua techniques from raising to harvesting and how oysters have become the main export product of Van Don.

Continue cycling to a magnificent stalactite cave which is still unnamed. This is a dry cave featuring many unique structures like columns, stalactites, and stalagmites. Take your time to look around and enjoy the beautiful cave.

Hop back on your bicycle and ride back to the pier.

Option 02: For those who prefer the water to land and who are not so fond of cycling, our kayaks are always ready for an exploration of the unspoiled nature scenery.

15:30. Return to Ao Tien Harbor by speedboat.

16:00. Meet your private vehicle for a transfer to Halong city.

17:00. Upon arrival Halong, check in your hotel and spend the evening on your own leisure.

Overnight in Halong

Day 02: Halong City-Tuan Chau Harbor-Lan Ha Bay-Dark & Bright Cave (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

Breakfast at the hotel. Free time to relax or explore the city independently.

11:00. Check out of the hotel and travel to Tuan Chau Harbor by private vehicle.

11:30. Arrive at Blue Diamond office in Tuan Chau harbor.

11:30-12:30. Transfer by tender boat to Blue Diamond Cruise.

12:30. The Cruise Manager and crew member welcome you onboard with guiding information and a safety briefing.

Check in your cabin before a fabulous lunch in our restaurant.

During lunch time, our cruise starts to sail through the magnificent Lan Ha Bay, a geological extension of Halong Bay which is less visited, less inhabited and therefore has the extra appeal of being a more peaceful place.

15:30-16:30. Visit Dark & Bright Cave by bamboo boat rowed by the local fishermen, a serene round lake surrounded by lush trees and high stone cliffs.

16:30-17:00. Enjoy swimming in the private emerald water.

17:00. We return to Blue Diamond cruise and join some interesting activities such as cooking class, sunset party and relax on the sundeck to catch the daily spectacular of a gorgeous panorama

Don’t miss the happy hour at our bar as well.

After that, the captain will let the cruise stop at a quite area of the bay.

19:00. A special dinner of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served.

20:45. In the late evening, take your leisure time to chat at the bar, playing games, squid fishing…

Overnight onboard.

Day 03: Lan Ha bay-Tuan Chau Harbor-Hanoi (Breakfast/Brunch)

06:30. Be an early riser and attend the healthy Tai Chi practice on the sundeck. Sunrise photography is awesome.

07:00-08:00. Enjoy a breakfast in the restaurant.

08:00-09:00. Explore Lan Ha bay by kayak.

09:00-09:30. Back to the main cruise and it’s time to pack your things, do the check-out procedure. Make sure not to forget your belongings.

Enjoy brunch while cruising back to the mainland.

11:30. Travel on a tender boat back to Tuan Chau Harbor. Make your farewell to the  crew.

12:00. Meet your private vehicle for a return to Hanoi.

14:30. Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi. End of services.
