Yes, it is very safe on our cruise. We put the highest priority on the safety and security of our cruise, passengers, crew and staff on board. We ensure the safety facilities and regulations on our cruise including:
+ Safety instructions given by the Tour-guide upon boarding
+ Life jackets in all cabins and public areas
+ Life buoys/Life rafts
+ Tender boat
+ Fire safety system
+ Deadbolt in the rooms
+ Compliance to national safety regulations
+ The cruise is fitted with professional marine safety equipment: VHF Radio, GPS Plotting, Two-way radios, Water Ingress Alarm System, Anti-sinking Pump System, Fire Alarm system and fire extinguishers.
+ All Crew and Staff members have been trained about emergency situation and First Aid by the relevant Vietnamese Government Authority or Agency.
+ Blue Diamond is checked by local Maritime Registration Authority regularly and certified accordingly.
From Ha Long, you can take a bus to Ninh Binh or Sapa. However, please book your car in advance to make sure you have a seat on the bus and be picked up and dropped off at your right place.
You will check-in between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. To receive the room key and confirm the number of checked bags, you must first present your original ID, CCCD, or passport. The Blue Diamond staff will help you move bulky, heavy suitcases. Please handle personal items and small bags yourself.
Our talented executive chefs have developed a wide range of menus to suit various dietary requirements, including vegetarian and kid-friendly. Visitors please inform at least two working days' notice so that we can thoughtfully prepare.
Children and pregnant women can travel on any cruise without risk. The crew on board are prepared to assist in an emergency and can summon a speedboat to transport passengers to the closest medical facility on the mainland.
With your selected itineraries, consider bringing enough luggage, light clothes in the summer, and a thermal jacket in the fall and winter. In addition, to experience the swimming pool and water activities, you should prepare swimwear and necessary equipment. We encourage you to bring medical supplies such as bug sprays, medicines to treat personal related symptoms if available. For large luggage we have support staff, small luggage please handle it.
Wi-Fi is available in our cruise’s restaurant and bars and some places in your room, but its connection can be unstable due to the geography of Halong Bay.
No, there is not any weight restriction for your luggage but if you will continue your trip in Hanoi after the boat trip, you should leave big suitcases at your hotel stores in Hanoi. Or for all luggage that you don't need during your staying on the cruise, you can put them at our waiting lounge at the harbor.
Yes, it depends on which airport you would like to go. You can order a private transfer directly from our pier to the airport or take a suitable shuttle bus, and then change to a private car as a saving-cost solution.
The Blue Diamond shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotels if they are located inside the Old Quarter, and along the way where we can stop the vehicle. Some streets here are not allowed for stopping or parking. If your hotel is not in the Old Quarter, we will pick you up at the meeting point at The Opera House, on the main side.
You can identify Blue Diamond's shuttle bus by looking for the blue diamond logo and name Blue Diamond. We have 2 kinds of bus, Limousine van 8 seats and Fuso bus 17 seats and full amenities, including charge phones, drink water, access free WIFI and air conditioner. Our drivers are professional. They will organise luggage for passengers, stabilise seats, and take care them on-road.
You just need to mention with your agents for the best arrangement. If you book directly, add shuttle service to your booking and confirm the extra payment for transfer.
We have 2 kinds of bus, Limousine van 8 seats and Fuso bus 17 seats. Both are spacious with very good air-con and operated daily. Our drivers can’t use English properly but we are confident in their careful driving.
There are three airports near Ha Long bay: Noi Bai (in Hanoi), Cat Bi (in Hai Phong) and Van Don (in Quang Ninh). In those, Cat Bi is the nearest airport with the distance is about 40km and 45 minutes driving. After that is Van Don airport which is about 75km and takes 1 hour to drive. However, there are more internatonal flight to Noi Bai. Then if you take the domestic, you can choose to fly to Cat Bi or Van Don. If you take the international flight, you choose Noi Bai airport. Noi Bai is about 170km and 2,5 hours to Tuan Chau harbor.
You will pay the expense for one person adding extra charge for single supplement.
